Warren Buffet Once Said :
“Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.”
A rather crude principle to apply to your personal life… But if you ask me honestly sometimes using your head over the heart is the only logical move unless one has suicidal tendencies..
Our Hearts definitely do have a role to play in our lives… But application need not be in all areas or situations…
Each one of us fights this internal battle everyday of our lives.. Where the thoughts that form a decision or an action tend to flow from two distinct sources. Finding the right mix leading to an end result is a rather complex process which may vary based on individual personality or ever volatile human nature.
its a very rare sight that i see a well balanced decision or an action taken by myself or people around me.. After all human stupidity knows no bounds
For years i tired to find the right balance but i either manged to get ahead of myself with my head or behind myself with my heart..
Sure i made mistakes … But with every mistake i picked up the pieces and learnt some painful lessons….. strive for the balance don’t expect it … expectations sometimes can make one wait a lifetime…
Leading a life using ones head all the time … Usually lands one up in a singled out self centered world of your own.
Leading a life using ones heart all the time … Usually lands one up down in the dungeons somewhere with plenty of rose petals showered around you.
Maybe just applying one flow of thoughts to a particular area or situation seems the way to go …
My heart tells me .. Umm i crave a smoke …
My head tells me .. smoking kills son ..
i’ll take my chances with my head this time …
Peace
