Life n its Lessons

Sure you would get a steal in the next sale hitting the retail chains around your city … But the thought ever struck you…..Its a tough world if one is looking for a fair deal in life…

Why is it tough or getting tougher as the years pass by.. i have been asking myself that question for a few weeks now .. a rather unusual thought which can be overcome with the simple application of ignorance .. but somehow this is one aspect which i cannot ignore as it has a direct co-relation to the people who define my life…

Last night i put on my thinking hat on… Thinking about friends , family , business associates and loved ones…

So what are my chances of finding a fair deal with the groups outlined above ?

Honestly the chances are slim to none to expect a fair deal with all groups…

So Where could find a fair deal ?.. The answer really lies within me …

It depends on how good of a judge i am of the individuals who form these groups and my actions which may increase or decrease my distance from them.

One can’t control an another individuals outlook or priorities in life… which may or may not be a constant with the passing of time.. But one can definitely keep ones eyes open and see the color of the sky for what it is … Not for what it was or will be ..

Why the sky ? Well ask 10 random people “what is the color of the sky ?” at night and maybe you will have your answers…

Choices we make or made set the stage for the deals we get out of life….

Ignorance we apply also sets a stage for the deals we get out of life …

So are you getting a fair deal ? Food for Thought ..

Ethics or the “E” Factor as i like to call it .. is unique in every individual. There is no real guidelines around which an individual lays the grounds for Ethics he or she follows..

The Foundation of an Individuals ethics is generally laid by his or her family in the early days .. School education and friends in the years follow and finally college and an individuals every changing perception over the years based on experience..

Society as we know it generally showers respect and admiration over an individual for the most part based on his or her deeds or accomplishments..

i don’t know if ethics are the driving force behind deeds or accomplishments .. but i do know ethics define a person as a whole …

I don’t know if one does good.. Does he or she get rewarded by life in any way…But a wise man once told me do good even though there are no rewards ….when a life time filled with good deeds passes you by.. Look back at it… A feeling of self satisfactory contentment shall come by …. and when you close your eyes for the last time a lite heart is a better option then a heavy one..

My memories as i get older are getting a little hazy about my childhood and school days. Thought i would remember my childhood days till the end of time… After all a human mind can only store so much …

I studied in a convent school..  I feel it gives one experience with the general population that helps you be street smart as one grows up…

I don’t remember the days but we had two classes every week of “Morals” … Yes “Morals”

No one ever took it serious .. it was a class we looked forward to as we did not need to study for it … Algebra can get to your nerves and Geometry can drive you nuts .. But Morals well it was a class i was at peace with .. I don’t remember much of the morals i was taught but i do remember this chapter which Preached to “Forgive and Forget” Keep no hatred or thought of revenge in your heart for it will only deviate you from the goodness of life ..

Well over the years as a grew up for some strange reason i could never forget those words … its almost as if they left a ever lasting impression on my outlook.. An Impression that till date stands firm

And if you do give it a thought .. Those words are so true …

People will do hurtful or bad things to or for you… And there is no count to how many times this may occur at every junction of your life … If you were to hold a grudge and keep it in your heart against them .. How many would you be able to store without showing a stain on your soul ?

I don’t know if heaven or hell exists
I don’t know if a judgment day exists after death
i don’t know if people pay the dues for the sins they commit in this life or the other

But i do know a individual is known by his or her deeds … Reasons behind the deeds hold no water

When one comes to a blissful understanding in life that you and you alone are responsible for your actions, words and deeds in life maybe it might help you be a better human being …
