Life n its Lessons

I was dead tired this evening went from a beer to wine to chai

Sometimes i wonder if i was dropped on my head when i was born … but i guess we all have our crazy sides .. atleast i hope we do

U2 was the flavor this evening…. and for some strange reason their music keeps reminding me of the crazy days back home .. that seem like memoirs from another life

i clocked about 43000 kms on my bike in the first 3 years thru  hot summer days and rain filled monsoons and  …   less the 3000 in the last 5 .. she still lays parked where she always did don’t ever think i would get rid of her

The 15 minute ride back home was a pleasure .. just one of those times where i would spread my wings with sucidal tendencies.. the best i clocked was 12 minutes ..

The last time  i was home i thought i would take her for a long ride and open up the engine a bit ..Just never did end up doing so i wonder why …Maybe it was the bad back that kept me off her …

The 8 months i did spend in mumbai i guess i was too in engrossed  with the  blue eyed beauty… i have very few passions in life .. and love a simple life for the most part … but every once in a while i give my heart into something … and then it just seems to be my agenda to perfection .. some close friends find my habits rather unusual … But i always wonder .. is a life worth living if a man cannot peruse the small joys of life .. even if they were at a high cost .. so much of our life goes living for others .. at least most of mine has … and for the most part will in the near and the distant future …

Nothing hurts me more then cutting loose someone i trust..

Its really unfortunate under what conditions people conceive notions and base their actions upon.. maybe its just  my stupidity that i till date believe that there are a handful few out there who one can trust.. After all there is alot more that defines an individuals life .. beyond the individual himself…

Life is a product of surroundings and experiences that give shape to your perspective .. which in return defines your reality

Cherish what you hold .. for everyone is not that fortunate

The mid night sky had a strange aura to it tonight ..  one of many that have been captured in moments that define my life …

The four elements define creation and the thought of life very well indeed… sometimes question my consciousness through the mists of innocence..

It is about the truth - and above all, the truth that is me and my life.

Old Battles are far from over and the world is running circles around me….. Yet i try to push a rock up the mountain..

Makes me wonder why…

When your life is defined by a simple action.. You change the concept of time. - Unknown

Looked up at my sky … and wondered if it was worth walking away from it all…

Every bit walked away from in the past…  Only to get closer to another in present

As plain and simple as it seems … only a figment of my imagination it will always be

Sometimes i wish if life were any different … Then there are times i would have it none other way …

As the lines of destiny evolve .. so will i ….

The Path to Wisdom is a never ending journey of life .. leading well beyond our stupid little lives ..

No matter how smart or how dumb an individual is… If reaches a point in his life where he were to think he knows everything… Beyond that point of sublime wisdom he will never know anything.. Each individuals life will lead him down the path of many abstract truth’s… which unfortunately also leads one down a path which transforms into a tunnel view of the world around us.

Abstract truths reign in a world of multi dimensional perspectives… Don’t wait for the judgments.. they happen every minute all around you … But be open to advice even from a stranger ..

You will be amazed to find problems which steam from abstract truths also reside in the same multidimensional world.. as their solutions

I learn a new truth every day of my life.. some i accept some are still an uphill battle ..

Always do right–this will gratify some and astonish the rest…

its funny thing this life .. sometimes the smallest things you do for someone or the smallest of mistakes you commit.. help you in a very very big way ….

For the past 2 years i have been doing small favors for someone i know … it did’nt take much effort nor did it take much time ..never expected anything out of it …

the favour saved my skin this weekend

i remember committing a silly mistake about 2 months back.. considering the situation then i kicked myself for being so careless … i could have just ignored that mistake and moved on with my life … but for some strange reason i still had it in my wallet ..

And guess what … its saving my skin tomorrow

Every man makes mistakes .. i have made countless … some i have learnt from .. some well maybe i will never learn from.. Maybe thats just me .. Maybe life has not thought me a harsh enough lesson to act upon …

But each day that i live … i learn to appreciate life alot more for its wonders….

For the past few weeks i have been super busy .. barely have time to stop and think about life going on around me … or even my life the path its headed ..

I get home late at nights .. catch up on some dinner maybe a movie and hit the sack …. i really don’t fall asleep unless i am dead tired … its almost as if i stretch myself to the limits of physical exhaustion …

For the past 4 years .. this question has been hitting me every now and then .. something’s missing ?? something’s missing ?  a feeling creeps in as if my day was not complete…

i have asked myself this question to figure out whats missing maybe a million times .. but never seemed to find the answer…

I have tried going out with friends .. keeping myself pinned down with work .. heading out for some fresh air in the woods … or just being a bum at home … nothing seems to work

With every question in our minds we wrestle with the absence of something

I can want what i want, but i can only get so much before i am relying on others to supply it. And others will never supply everything to my exact specifications.

So i try and make the best of what I’ve got. Not everybody is blissfully happy with the result, but any effort to improve my life circumstances will still be limited to only what i can do about it.

You can center your life on what you lack, or you can center it on what you have.

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university Professor.

Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the Prof. went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the Prof. said “If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. That all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other’s cups.”

“Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it.”

“I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me, but it’s hard to stay mad when there’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once and it’s too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst, and then I remember to relax and stop trying to hold on to it and then if flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.
