A day passes by .. so does a week .. so does a month … followed by a year

Little do we realize time is ticking by .. irrespective of what we are doing or what state of mind are we in.

Your Happy ..Time will tick .. Your sad .. Time will still tick… Your Confused …Time definitely still tick

Considering you spend half your life sleeping … that just leaves another half to be sad , happy or confused

Wouldn’t one want to be happy for the most part if it was a perfect world ?

Well atleast i would for the most i can …

The Only issue is people are so overwhelmed with emotions driven by their surrounding environment ..And get so caught up in their day to day life… They hardly get a chance to take a breather n step out of the box for a while to look at their lifes from a brids eye view..

Life is though and its difficult to get yourself out of the daily routine

Well You have Problems so do 5 Billion other people …

But do stop every once in a while … N seek the path to happiness ..

Life is too short to be confused .. n too precious to be sad

Peace

A Interesting thought …. By someone with wisdom derived over the years

It’s been 18 years since I joined Volvo, a Swedish company. Working for them has proven to be an interesting experience. Any project here takes 2 years to be finalized, even if the idea is simple and brilliant. It’s a rule.

Globalize processes have caused in us (all over the world) a general sense of searching for immediate results. Therefore, we have come to posses a need to see immediate results. This contrasts greatly with the slow movements of the Swedish. They, on the other hand, debate, debate, debate, hold x quantity of meetings and work with a slowdown scheme. At the end, this always yields better results.

Said in another words:1. Sweden is about the size of San Pablo, a state in Brazil.

2. Sweden has 2 million inhabitants.

3. Stockholm, has 500,000 people.

4. Volvo,Escania, Ericsson, Electrolux, Nokia are some of its renowned companies.Volvo supplies the NASA.

The first time I was in Sweden, one of my colleagues picked me up at the hotel every morning. It was September, bit cold and snowy. We would arrive early at the company and he would park far away from the entrance (2000employees drive their car to work). The first day, I didn’t say anything, either the second or third. One morning I asked, “Do you have a fixed parking space? I’ve noticed we park far from the entrance even when there are no other cars in the lot.” To which he replied,  “Since we’re here early we’ll have time to walk, and whoever gets in late will be late and need a place closer to the door. Don’t you think?Imagine my face.

Nowadays, there’s a movement in Europe name Slow Food. This movement establishes that people should eat and drink slowly, with enough time totaste their food, spend time with the family, friends, without rushing. SlowFood is against its counterpart: the spirit of Fast Food and what it stands for as a lifestyle. Slow Food is the basis for a bigger movement called Slow Europe, as mentioned by Business Week.

Basically, the movement questions the sense of “hurry” and “craziness”generated by globalization, fueled by the desire of “having in quantity”(life status) versus “having with quality”, “life quality” or the “quality of being”. French people, even though they work 35 hours per week, are more productive than Americans or British.

Germans have established 28.8 hour workweeks and have seen their productivity been driven up by 20%. This slow attitude has brought forth the US’s attention, pupils of the fast and the “do it now!” This no-rush attitude doesn’t represent doing less or having a lower productivity. It means working and doing things with greater quality, productivity, perfection, with attention to detail and less stress. It means reestablishing family values, friends, free and leisure time. Taking the”now”, present and concrete, versus the “global”, undefined and anonymous. It means taking humans’ essential values, the simplicity of living.

It stands for a less coercive work environment, more happy, lighter and more productive where humans enjoy doing what they know best how to do. It’s time to stop and think on how companies need to develop serious quality with no-rush that will increase productivity and the quality of products and services, without losing the essence of spirit.

In the movie, Scent of a Woman, there’s a scene where Al Pacino asks a girl to dance and she replies, “I can’t, my boyfriend will be here any minute now”. To which Al responds, “A life is lived in an instant”. Then they dance to a tango.

Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on time. Others areso anxious of living the future that they forget to live the present, which is the only time that truly exists. We all have equal time throughout the world. No one has more or less.

The difference lies in how each one of us does with our time. We need tolive each moment. As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”.

Grey Areas of Life

For the longest of times … Ever since i have started exploring life. It only existing for me in 2 forms Black or White Right or Wrong….. 12 Years of black n white sure does make life pretty boring :)

Then one fine day i met someone who’s entire life seemed to be Grey. …its funny i had never come across an individual with such a pattern ever…. It intrigued me as i grew closer to this grey individual..

As i stood there and observed over the months. This person had never differentiated between right or wrong black or white.. Always did what brought happiness and joy in each moment they lived.

A birth right of every individual is that he or she deserves to be happy in whatever way they choose to. Its an individuals sole choice irrespective of judgments made by other individuals in the society or the society as a whole

Under the general norm of the society we live in this individual would be considered an outlaw by all standards

As we grew closer day after day .. conversation after conversation i realized how wrong i had been all my life…Life is not all black and white… Its Black White and Grey

And its ok to have a few grey patches here and there. Life is gift which needs to be lived to the full.. It cannot be lived by a rule book…Although there always have to be some underlying principles which surround your life…

What these principles are again an individual choice ..

The ability for an individual to accept see and realize there are grey areas in life … is something most people don’t come to terms with all their lifes …However i was fortunate enough to be thought this lesson in life by a little lost child …

Dream On Dreamer .. Dream On .. so what if its grey …

Life in Reverse Gear

Have you ever tried to put life in reverse gear ?

Well Today I did. Felt pretty weird

Its Almost as if your running full steam ahead and something strikes you like a bolt of lightening that you left some thing way back in your distant past.

And the though of losing such a dear thing brings you to a grinding halt. Even if you do try and reverse you do realize that you can’t

I tired to ponder with the question as to why if i could head ahead so fast ahead i couldn’t reverse equally quick। Well and it struck me One does not really go anywhere in life. Just gets into a notion of ignoring the winds of change sweeping all around us.

The Notion i had of running full steam ahead was only a illusion while all this while i just stood there. Turning a blind eye towards the winds of change that were leaving no stone unturned

Learn from your past
Live your present
Look forward to your future…. Don’t live in it

A life time will pass by before you realize it
